Good evening/morning, something.  What a wonderful assortment of "off the boat" seafood we have in store for you this weekend.  Grouper, Snapper, Mahi, Flounder, Halibut, Redfish, Trout, Shrimp, Live Blue Crabs, Oysters and Squid, to name only a few.  Item list to follow Fri.  But currently, I must rest a moment, in order to have it to you by 11am.

Did I mention Scallops on the Grill? Stone Crab Claws and Yellowfin Tuna?  How about fresh Flounder stuffed with Jumbo Lump, Lump or Backfin Crab Meat? Anyhoo, Life's Great, wish you were here...so I didn't have to come all the way there...but I suppose I'll enjoy the view and the company I keep.  Look forward to sharing with you this weekend.

Also a brief message.  After constantly being asked about the situation in the Gulf I have concluded:  Not to be a salesman, but perhaps we should savor the products from the Ocean that we have all enjoyed throughout our lives.  British Petroleum is currently dumping oil on the most fertile estuaries in the continental US.  They have been doing so for over a month, with little resistance from the US beaches, and no clue how to stop.

While the US economy crumbled, and Cape Fear Seafood gave away most of its profits via $4.50/gal gas, these oil co's reported record profit quarter after record profit after record profit.  At some point it is hard to set a new record but, man they are good.  Today, with no resistance from anyone, the oil flows directly into living waters, killing everything.  BP is spraying dispersments that are more toxic than the oil, but it doesn't show up on TV, so we at least have that going for us.  

You want my opinion? My opinion is my opinion doesn't mean sh t.  If you didn't know this country was owned by the oil co's when they took the White House and all the money, you should damned sure know it now as they run right over the place. This disaster hasn't even happened yet...and it is horrific already.

I new better than to get started.  Pardon, I am tired and frustrated, and can't believe that we are this helpless.

ps.  All our stuff was caught in the Atlantic Ocean.  The same Ocean my son surfed in today, and could see his feet in 5 ft of water.  Please don't drill off our coast.
